I thee wed

Lindley was baptized on Sunday at St. Joseph's Cathedral by Fr. Joe. We will miss him as he has been transferred to a parish in Columbia. Godparents are Mary and Joyce. Lindley loves all of her aunts and uncles. It was a very hard decision for us to make.

My sister, Carol and I took Lindley to the Gov. Garden for some photos. What an ordeal! We were exhausted and it was so hot! Lindley was a wild child running everywhere with her white dress on. To our amazement she didn't get one grass stain on her dress as she fell a few times! The Gov. Garden is a great place to take photos, and everyone else thinks so too as a wedding was about to start and lots of families taking photos of their children. She loves to be chased and that is exactly what she wanted her Aunt Carol to do. At one point Carol tried to bribe her with candy, but Lindley didn't fall for the bribe, instead she took off running.

Hope everyone has a good summer. I can't believe it's almost been a year since we traveled to China. Lindley is truly a blessing. God always has a plan!
