I thee wed

Happy Fall! The trees are really turning! The colors are becoming more and more vibrant. We took advantage of the warm weather on Saturday and had our friend, Susan take some photos. The colors turned out beautifully! We captured some good shots.

Lindley is growing so fast. She is so much fun. Challenging at times, but I guess that comes with the terrible twos and us just becoming parents. She loves the outdoors. She is talking more and more and loves to giggle. She is a climber with no fear. The other day she climbed on Brian's back while he was sitting on the edge of the sofa, stood up and free fell backwards. Scared me to death! She loved it!

Our adoption group had a hayride. It was so much fun! Lindley got to see some of her friends and met her new friend, Katie who just arrived from China. Katie is a cutie. Her mom and dad waited four years for her, so she is much loved. My brother Pat provided the hayrides. It was cold but a full moon for our Harvest Moon Fest.

Back in Sept. I took some photos of Lindley at the K farm. She had a beautiful dress from my friend, Dane's mom. With the help of my brother, Pat, and sister, Carol, we got some cute photos with an old antique tricycle that all eight children rode back in our younger days. Then we quickly changed her into some pink and white overalls that my sister, Mary gave Lindley back in the spring. Pat had a great idea to get a baby pig for the photo. The photos turned out so cute!

Hope everyone is having a great fall. Halloween is coming up. Lindley inches closer to her Halloween outfit each day as we mention she has to wear her costume in order to get candy. Today she had the tinker bell wings on and wouldn't take them off. That was a first! Before she wouldn't even get close to them. She still won't try on the dress that goes with it. We have one week left to work on that!

We are so blessed to have Lindley. She is a joy and brightens our days! She does lots of silly things. Day care is great. She is learning a lot. You can catch her singing her ABCs and counting. The other day, Brian walked into our dining room and had a container of sliced pineapple. When she saw the container, she immediately rose her hand and was yelling me, me! It caught us off guard at first then realized she raises her hand at mealtime at daycare when she wants something. It was cute. They are teaching her good manners!
